Hoot Reading Joins the 2023 Promising Ventures Fellowship Cohort

Hoot Reading, a leading online tutoring service providing 1:1, evidence-based literacy instruction, is honored to announce its selection as one of the nine equity-centered organizations chosen for the prestigious 2023 Promising Ventures Fellowship (PVF).

In a milestone year marking the 5th anniversary of the PVF program, Hoot Reading joins a distinguished cohort of organizations dedicated to various areas of impact, including early health, childhood education, child care, caregiver and parent support, and early childhood leader development.

The selection highlights Hoot Reading's commitment to advancing literacy and educational outcomes for children, and the organization is eager to contribute to the collective growth and impact of the cohort. Co-CEO Carly Shuler and VP of Literacy & Learning Caitlin Mehra will be meeting with dedicated coaches each week to create goals for how Hoot Reading can most meaningfully impact the youngest learners across North America, as well as huddle with the Fellowship cohort to share experiences, build connections, and navigate challenges in the field.
